Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich district was the scene of a grim discovery when a woman's lifeless body, bearing marks of strangulation, was found concealed among the bushes near a village. Authorities are suspecting a homicide.
The SHO of Payagpur police station, Kamal Shankar Chaturvedi, noted that the body exhibited blood discharge from the mouth and nose, along with evident signs of strangulation, marked by a rope imprint on her neck. Furthermore, injury marks were identified under her left eye and neck.
Efforts are underway to determine the victim's identity, as she appears to be approximately 25 years old. Following the prescribed protocol, a post-mortem examination will be conducted after a 72-hour waiting period.
